Culinary Studio Launches in St. Cloud Area: Cooking Classes Begin in October, Registration Now Open
St. Cloud, MN – [Date] – The Culinary Studio, a new venture dedicated to providing exceptional cooking classes and experiences, is excited to announce its official launch with classes beginning in October. While finalizing its permanent location at the 539 Building (which also houses Iron Street Distillery) in St. Cloud’s East End, initial classes will be held at Sauk Rapids-Rice High School. This culinary experience is being brought to the St. Cloud area, promising to become a hub for food enthusiasts of all levels. Registration is now open, and spots are filling up quickly.

Owned by Michelle Massman and Mary Levinski, the Culinary Studio is a unique partnership that combines expertise in business and culinary education. Michelle Massman is a seasoned entrepreneur, owner of Massman Companies Inc., and co-owner of Shaun Johnson Big Band Experience and Tonic Sol-fa. Her business acumen is matched by Mary Levinski's impressive 38-year career as a Family and Consumer Sciences teacher at Sauk Rapids-Rice High School. Ms. Levinski, a ProStart Instructor for 19 years, has led her teams to 18 State championships in both management and culinary, and earned 3 National team awards. She was also honored as the 2020 ACF Chef of the Year and 2023 CAFE Teacher of the Year.

In addition to a variety of cooking classes, the Culinary Studio will also be offering Mary’s famous scones for purchase. Each month, three delicious scone flavors will be available for a limited time. The ordering window will be announced via email, text, Facebook, and Instagram, and will remain open until the limited quantity sells out. Scones will be ready for pick-up on specified days. Beyond the regular classes, the Culinary Studio will also offer private cooking classes, team-building events, and themed experiences, including the highly anticipated murder mystery cooking class. "We wanted to create something special that goes beyond just cooking," said Mary Levinski. "Our classes are designed to inspire and empower our students to bring the joy of cooking into their own homes. And our themed events, like the murder mystery cooking class, will add an extra layer of fun and creativity to the experience."
